Complications of Hypertensive Nephropathy

1. Renal arteriosclerosis and Renal Failure
Hypertension has a close relation with kidneys. On one hand, Hypertension can cause kidney lesions; on the other hand, the kidney lesions can aggravate Hypertension. Hypertension and kidney lesions influence each other, thus forming a vicious circle. In addition, rapidly progressive Hypertension can lead to malignant renal arteriosclerosis, which will develop into Renal Failure quickly.
2. Cerebrovascular Accident
Cerebrovascular Accident is also known as stroke. It is serious, and its fatality rate is high. Even if it will not cause death, it will lead to disability in most cases. For patients with Hypertension, the higher the blood pressure is, the higher the incidence of stroke is. If patients have dizziness, headache, nausea, fatigue and other symptoms caused by anger, sudden accident, strenuous exercise and other incentives, the occurrence of stroke should be highly suspected, and the patients had better be taken to the hospitals immediately.
3. Coronary Heart Disease
The changes of the blood pressure can cause the imbalance of oxygen supply and oxygen demand of the myocardium. When patients with Hypertension have Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, it means Hypertensive Heart Disease occurs, which will finally lead to Heart Failure.
